What we'll tell you
Not accepted
For patients with multiple insurance carriers, we're currently unable to submit claims directly. We're happy to provide superbills instead — detailed receipts you can send to your insurer for reimbursement. In these cases, payment is collected at the time of your visit.
Your deductible, number of covered visits, and copay. For finer coverage details, check with your insurer before your first visit.
Medi-Cal, Medicare and Kaiser are not accepted.
If you have supplemental insurance to Medi-Cal, you may still have coverage.
Is it worth checking your
out-of-network benefits?
Absolutely. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network acupuncture coverage, and the benefits can sometimes be as good as—or even better than—in-network coverage. For most out-of-network plans, we will still submit the claims for you, making the process easy and hassle-free. A quick benefits verification can help you understand what coverage may be available before your first visit.
